In 5 years I would like to: receive more Yoga Therapy training and take that training into the mental health issues
Linda received her 200 hr RYT Yoga Alliance Certification at Sundara Yoga Therapy in Austin in 2012. In 2013 she returned to Sundara for extensive training and certification on Overcoming Anxiety & Depression with Yoga and became a Trauma Sensitive instructor. In 2015 she continued learning on the therapeutic path by completing her 500 hr RYT through Integrative Yoga Therapy. Integrating Yogic principles with her Licensed Professional Counseling practice has emphasized the connection and value of mind/body wellness for her clients. Teaching inclusive, all-level classes is her specialty and Yoga Nidra (Meditative relaxation) is a wonderful offering Linda provides during community classes from time to time. She is also a Pilates Fit certified instructor.
